Porters’ Pub did it’s first “Pub Crawl” to Killarney, Ireland in 1999. We had so much fun we did another one the following year, and then another. These days Larry Porter organizes and operates between 5 and 10 trips a year to destinations all over the globe. Destinations like Machu Picchu, Peru, Vietnam, Italy, the Galapagos Islands, The Republic of Georgia, Istanbul, Belgium and so many more.

Larry Porter has been to over 40 countries and counting and loves to share his passion for travel. What started with a group trip for Porters’ Pub staff, family and a few close friends has grown into full time occupation with customers joining our trips from all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

We have been hosting "Pub Crawls" for over 15 years. And despite the name, they're not all about drinking... well maybe the first few for sure! Our trips are very laid back and friendly, perfect for the first time traveler or the seasoned independent minded explorer. You get the security, peace of mind and camaraderie of traveling with a group and knowing that all the details have been taken care of, but you also get the flexibility of going off and doing your own thing. Our hotel becomes a home base for exploring the countryside and a meeting place to catch up and compare notes with your new found traveling friends.
These are trips of a lifetime! Hand picked destinations that offer all the romance and excitement the world has to offer. Take it at your own pace... fast or slow, sightseeing by day and dancing by night, or relaxing in an open air cafe and enjoying a quiet dinner... it's totally up to you. Most tours will offer one or two optional day trips, usually with an epicurean focus; wineries, breweries, distilleries, vineyards and restaurants. Or we may visit a prominent historic site. Airfare, taxes, fuel surcharges and departure fees are always included. As are breakfasts daily, all transfers by private coach in the destination country, hotels and a guided orientation of the city. We always fly as a group and everything is taken care of from end to end. All you need to do is show up and have fun! |
