Edinburgh is a city steeped in a rich history.  There has been a castle here at least since Roman times. So much rich history and culture to soak up... not to mention the best Scotch selection in the world.

Our first night's stay will be in Stirling with it's famous medieval castle where William Wallace defeated the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. We'll stop at the Glenturret Distillery and Urquhart Castle on our way from Edinburgh to Inverness. On the way back from Inverness we'll drive through the Scottish Highlands to the west coast fishing town of Oban and visit the famed Oban Distillery, and then continue on to visit Loch Lomond & the Trossachs before arriving to our hotel in Edinburgh.

There will be plenty of free time to explore on your own as well. Our 5 star hotel in Edinburgh is  perfectly located in the city center, right on the Royal Mile.

Inverness is a city on Scotland’s northeast coast, where the River Ness meets the Moray Firth. It's the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Its Old Town features 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th-century Old High Church and an indoor Victorian Market selling food, clothing and crafts. The contemporary Inverness Museum and Art Gallery traces local and Highland history. We'll be staying in the heart of the downtown where you can wander out in the morning, eat and drink in many of the fine local establishments, and stagger home at night!
