Nasera Safaris is proudly African owned, managed and run. A father and son team who, together, have over 50 years of experience in guiding safaris, curating itineraries, and caring for travelers all over East Africa.
Joseph has been guiding clients for over 50 years. You can hardly visit a lodge or a park where they don't already know and love him. All our guides are highly trained, speak fluent English and go above and beyond in any situation. Rest assured you will be well taken care of.
Joseph's son, Godfrid, started Nasera Safaris after graduating from University in 2005. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction is what led me to start working with him on regular basis. Together we've got you covered.

Hi. my name is Larry Porter, owner and operator of Porterra Travel. So far, I've traveled to over 45 countries on 5 continents. I've backpacked solo through Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece, sailed the British Virgin Islands living on a sailboat, hiked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain as well as stayed in five star hotels in major metropolitan cities enjoying all they have to offer. I've been to more castles, cathedrals and world class museums than I can recall. I've heard symphonies performed in the great opera houses of Europe and swam in mountain waterfalls in the Andes.
Travel is my passion and I'd love to share it with you. As much as I love exploring new places and cultures, trying new cuisines and especially the local beer, wine and liqueurs... nothing excites me more than sharing these places with others. There's nothing like walking down some winding cobblestone alleyway in another country, wandering into a little cafe... and running into someone you know from our trip! Pull up a chair, share a bottle of wine and compare notes on what you've seen and done. As enjoyable as travelling is, sharing the experience with others makes it even better. I've been organizing group trips for over 25 years now and I've been on almost every one of them! The first one was a Porters' Pub trip to Ireland with mostly staff and close personal friends. We had so much fun we started doing them every year. Our trip offerings have multiplied and grown over the years simply by word of mouth and through Porters' Pub & Restaurant in Easton, PA.
